How to download videos from YouTube and Facebook
Want to listen to YouTube music in your car, without the hassle of a permanent internet connection?
Here’s how to download videos from YouTube and put them on a USB stick that you just plug into your car’s media player.
The solution works just as well for downloading video downloads on facebook.
Relatively little known, ClipGrab is a PC application that makes it easy to download videos from YouTube and Facebook.
Updated periodically to keep up with the changes made to the mentioned social platforms, the free application does not imply accessing any website or online video download service, the “magic” happening directly on the PC connected to the internet.
Very easy to use and with an intuitive interface, ClipGrab automatically recognizes video download links as soon as they are added to the clipboard, a simple click on the pop-up message on the taskbar in the System Tray section automatically placing the desired clip on the download list.
Alternatively, we can manually insert the YouTube clip link into the application interface using copy / paste operations. Once recognized, the YouTube clip chosen for download can be downloaded to the hard disk using the “Grab this clip” button.
The application offers the ability to download the selected video clip at its original quality, or any of the lower resolutions made available by YouTube.

To convert music videos to MP3 format, simply change the file format to “MP3 (audio only), the application ensuring the automatic conversion of the video clip to the format supported by any MP3 player.
For downloading videos posted on Facebook, the process is as simple as that. We first make sure that the video we want to download is running in the web browser, and then we download the link from the address bar using the CTRL-C command.
If the link has been recognized by the application, we can use the “Grab this clip” button to download it to the hard disk. The last step is logging the application into your Facebook account, using your username and password.
Importantly, downloading YouTube videos or personal pages of Facebook users violates Google’s and Facebook’s usage rules. In addition, the gesture could be interpreted as a violation of the law of intellectual property rights.
