AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT has dropped below the manufacturer’s recommended price

The Radeon RX 6500 XT doesn’t seem to sell very well. Despite AMD’s strategy of launching an affordable and widely available GPU, no one wants to buy it anymore. The reason? It has only 4 GB of RAM and is already too small, even for 1080p resolution gaming.

As a result, prices have also fallen sharply. Video card prices are still very high, well above the prices recommended by the manufacturers, but the Radeon 6500 XT seems to remain in store stocks at even lower prices than MSRP.

At MindFactory, a major electronics store in Germany, the RX 6500 XT was listed at a starting price of just 199 euros, about 50 euros less than the MSRP.

However, we are talking about a model in ITX format, with mediocre cooling, but even the better equipped models are not very expensive. For example, the XFX Radeon RX 6500 XT Black Gaming is now priced at just 239 euros.

Even if you don’t plan to buy a Radeon RX 6500 XT, the news is good. The demand for video cards is not as high as it was a few months ago and there is a good chance that the middle and top models will see price declines in the next period.
