Intel Core i9-13900KS, the first processor with a frequency of 6 Ghz, will be available in 2023
The Core i9-13900K will be the first processor to boost up to 6Ghz and will be available early next year in limited quantities, Intel announced.
As before, the KS is a binned i9-13900K and has the same configuration as the standard model: 24 cores (8 P cores + 16 E cores), 32 threads, 36 MB L3 cache, 32 MB L2 cache and 125W TDP/PL1.
The consumption in Extreme Performance mode, which removes power limits, is, however, considerably higher, reaching up to 350 W in load.
Of course, the price will also be a bit higher. The Core i9-13900K has an MSRP of $599, and the KS SKU could be $100-$150 more expensive.
