Microsoft changes its logo for the first time in 25 years
Microsoft, on Thursday, the first new logo in 25 years, while getting ready to introduce a new version of its operating system, Windows 8.
Windows 8 will be installed on the tablet’s own, Surface, and other devices with touch screens.
The new logo contains four colored squares “are meant to express the company’s diversified product portfolio,” according to Microsoft blog, forward Bloomberg.
The biggest software maker globally expanding its assault on the tablet market due to the increasing preference of buyers for these products, which reduces sales of laptops and PCs and revenue from Windows.
Windows 8 launch is scheduled for October and Surface tablet will be available later this year.
