Samsung has introduced a biometric security bank card
Samsung has introduced a new security solution for bank cards. It is based on a fingerprint scanner and several secure processors, and in theory allows the use of electronic payment methods without a PIN code.

Samsung claims that this is the first solution of its kind. Biometric data is stored locally in an encrypted format and is analyzed upon authentication by a secure processor.
The solution proposed by Samsung has already received EMVCo and CCEA Level 6+ certifications, so it is very safe. At the same time, it complies with the latest security standards imposed by Mastercard. Being currently only a proof of concept, we do not know yet if it will start commercially in the near future.
