Samsung Odyssey G9 – 49 inch curved monitor

Samsung launched Odyssey G9, the most performing gaming monitor of the Koreans. It is a model with a diagonal of 49 inches, slightly curved, ultra wide and very expensive.

Theoretically, it would be the best performing curved monitor in the world. It has a 49-inch QLED screen with a resolution of 5120 x 1440 pixels, a response time of 1ms, 240Hz refresh rate, 1000R curvature, 32: 9 aspect ratio and a very good color.

It basically plays 125% of the sRGB spectrum, 95% of the DCI spectrum, is compatible with G-Sync and FreeSync Premium Pro from AMD. As a connector, it offers HDMI 2.0, DP 1.4, USB 3.0, audio jack and VESA 100 x 100 mount.

It also has the proprietary Samsung Quantum Dot technology, HDR 10+ and costs 1700 euros.
