Version 10 of Android is the most widespread at present
With version 12 already launched, the largest share on the market in the Android world is held by version number 10.
Android 10 runs on 26.5% of all terminals currently active and with an internet connection. The 2nd place is occupied by Android 11 with 24.2%, quite close to the first position. Android 9 ranks 3rd with 18.2%. Android 4.1 JellyBean is still used on 0.6% of terminals.

Thus, Android is still far from being a rival on the OS side in terms of updates compared to iOS. The large number of Android phone manufacturers with different interfaces and the wide range of products from entry-level to flagships will probably never allow it to reach an impressive percentage.
