AMD offers in 2022 PCI Express 5.0 and DDR5
After the announcement of the production of DDR5 memory by SK Hynix, we find out new details about the latest technologies. AMD will offer in 2022 a huge leap in technology and a serious reason to upgrade.
AMD will introduce in 2022 support for PCI Express 5.0 and DDR5. At the same time it is possible to receive a new series of AMD Ryzen 5nm processors and possibly a new socket, but the latter information is not clear.
It is clear that the next AMD Ryzen 4000 platform will use the entire AM4 socket, but we are not as sure about the AMD Ryzen 5000.
The advantages are obvious, but the prices will be just right. Even if the year 2022 will be an important one, I consider that only in 2023 we will be able to use these technologies on a large scale and at a decent price.
So don’t rush and don’t be scared. If you want to make a computer now, you can do it without any problems.
