Production of the iPhone 12 began a month ago, a month later than usual. This means that it will be released later or will be available later.

Despite previous claims that production will continue as usual, things are not rosy.

Production estimates also fell by 20% for July-December. This means that either the new iPhone 12 will be launched a month later, ie in October, or it will be launched in September but will be available from October.
