QNAP has launched the TS-451D2 NAS with 4 drawers and Intel processor

QNAP today launched the TS-451D2 NAS with 4 drawers and an Intel processor. This is a model that offers individual users a high potential data management solution.

Inside we find an Intel Celeron J4025 dual core processor at 2GHz, 2 or 4GB DDR4 memory (supports 8GB in dual channel), knows AES-NI encryption, supports 4K streaming media, real-time transcoding and has HDMI 2.0 4K output.

The NAS also offers 4 USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports. Supports video streaming via Plex, smart TVs or receivers with Plex Media Server or Cinema28 applications from QNAP.

It has an integrated application store where you can download a wide range of applications for greater functionality and utility, can host virtual machines and can help build a surveillance system with professional-grade IP cameras through the Surveillance Station application.

The block-based LUN snapshot provides data protection and restoration to help protect against ransomware threats. HBS (Hybrid Backup Sync) provides local / remote / cloud backup, with built-in QuDedup technology that can deduct data at source to reduce storage usage, bandwidth usage and backup time for optimized storage usage.
