Valve adds support for the PS5 DualSense controller in Steam
It is currently only available to Beta users.
According to research done by Valve, in recent years the number of those who use controllers to play their favorite titles on (still) the largest digital gaming platform on the PC has doubled.
Thus, currently 60% of players own and use a controller when playing titles available on Steam, and the launch of the PlayStation 5 and the new DualSense controller has determined them to provide support as soon as possible.
Currently only users enrolled in the Steam Beta program can test, but don’t expect support and functionality as advanced as when used with the PS5.
It’s weird how fast Valve moves when it comes to market gain and how much he ignores the fans who helped him build his empire which is now Steam, still ignoring all the requests and wishes for a title with a 3 in the queue whether it’s Half Life 3, Portal 3 or Left 4 Dead 3.
