Apple has launched a self service repair service for the iPhone
The self service repair service, announced by Apple more than 6 months ago, has finally become available in the United States. IPhone 12, 13 and SE 3 users can now order replacement parts, tools and service guides directly from Apple.
The service is aimed at independent service centers and individuals, but as Apple mentions, it is not recommended for consumers with no experience in repairing electronics.

To give you an idea of the cost, the iPhone 12 and 13 batteries cost $ 69, the displays cost between $ 225.96 and $ 309.96, and the camera module costs about $ 110.
Spare parts shipping is not included in the price, but defective components can be returned free of charge to Apple for recycling and a discount. For used batteries Apple offers a refund of up to $ 24.15, while for broken or defective screens the refund is up to $ 33.60.
The service will also be available in Europe this year, and in the near future will also offer spare parts for M1 Macs.
