BOE introduced the first 27 1080 1080p display with a refresh rate of 500 Hz

BOE, one of the most important screen manufacturers in the world, presented the first display with a diagonal of 27 ″, 1080p resolution and a refresh rate of 500 Hz.

It uses 8 eDP lanes to provide the required bandwidth, has a response time of only 1 ms and an 8 bit color gamut. Most likely, we will only see it on gaming monitors, but at very high prices.

As you may have guessed, you will not be able to enjoy the 500 Hz in all games, but only in esports titles such as DOTA 2, CS: GO and League of Legends.

However, the usefulness of such a refresh rate is debatable, even for professional players, the difference between 240 Hz and 500 Hz being almost imperceptible.
