One of the largest and oldest companies producing games, Electronic Arts (EA), is looking for buyers, writes New York Post. The folks at EA are known to play The Sims, Medal of Honor and Need For Speed.
Shares fell 37% year on scholarship. Currently shares are traded about $ 13, but the company wants to close the deal at $ 20 / share.
EA talks now for sale are in an early stage. Game maker was approached by KKR and Providence Equity Partners, for a possible transaction.
The folks at Electronic Arts said it does not comment on these “rumors and speculation”.
Providence has also Bethesda, an independent gaming company.
