OnePlus will offer induction charging

One of the regrets I had when switching from Nexus 5 to Nexus 6P was wireless charging!

As for the old phone, I told you in a separate article last year that I resisted a whole week with him!

When I test cars, ie when it is not quarantined, I happen to receive models that have such a charger available.

For example, that Kodiaq RS had something like that! And it would have been very convenient for me to know that from work to home I leave my smartphone there and take it with a little more battery than when I put it on!

But let’s get back to OnePlus! At each new phone presentation, their engineers told us the same thing: when the technology is advanced enough to compare with the fast wire charging, we will see it implemented!

Well, it seems like the day has come, and the first models that will have something like this will be OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 PRO.

The process will be called Warp Charge 30 Wireless and promises charging from 1% to 50% in just 30 minutes, using technology that returns 30W at peak time.

In addition, the Chinese manufacturer boasts 97% efficiency that minimizes heat transfer. In theory, about the same thing that Warp Charge offers on the wire.

The good part is that the technology is also compatible with other types of QI chargers, including those that allow 10W charging. Basically, when I get the phone for testing – that is, at the beginning of May – I can use the china that I have in drawers for about 2 or 3 years!

Okay, I expect the first models delivered to customers will benefit from a promotional offer – buy OnePlus 8 and receive a free charger.
