Redmi have announced their first monitor

Redmi, a subsidiary of Xiaomi, has expanded its product range. Although until now I knew them (at least me) only for mobile phones, apparently they also launched a laptop a week ago – Redmibook. Today they continued the trend and presented the first monitor – Redmi Display 1A.

Display 1A is an attractive monitor from two points of view: design and price. Currently only available in China, it costs $ 83.

From the point of view of specifications, we are talking about a 23.8inch IPS LCD display with a common full HD resolution, 1000: 1 contrast and a brightness of 250 nits. On the connectors side, we are talking about an HDMI port and a VGA port. Probably the refresh rate is 60hz.

Returning to the design, it has some very thin bezels and so Redmi recommends it to be used in a multi-monitor environment, the thin edges allowing you to put several monitors next to each other and have a false impression of continuous image.
