The Intel Arc 770 launches on October 12th at a great price
The second highest performing GPU in the Intel Arc Alchemist range will be available starting October 12 at prices starting at just $329, Intel announced during yesterday’s keynote.
Arc 770 competes with NVIDIA RTX 3060 and AMD RX 6600 XT and offers up to 65% better performance in ray tracing. However, Intel refrained from providing information related to GPU performance in rasterization, although NVIDIA and AMD may have a slight advantage in this regard.

The GPU has 4096 shading units, 32 Xe cores, 512 Intel XMX engines and comes with 8 GB or 16 GB of RAM on a 256-bit bus.
The first samples have already been sent to reviewers, and the embargo will be lifted on the day of release. At the moment, we don’t know if the Arc 770 will be sold in all regions and in which implementations it will arrive, but the starting price is very good and will almost certainly lead to price drops for equivalent models from NVIDIA and AMD.
The 16GB SKU will of course be a bit more expensive, but Intel hasn’t released a recommended price for it.
