The United Kingdom is definitively giving up Huawei equipment for telecommunications infrastructure
The UK has not fully come under pressure from the US in the past and has agreed to use Huawei technologies for 5G infrastructure, but not in the core of the infrastructure.
Today we find out that Great Britain is giving up Huawei completely.
Citing national security issues, members of the UK Conservative Party have called for Huawei’s technology to be removed from Britain’s 5G infrastructure and the rest of its telecommunications network by 2023.
So not only will Huawei not be able to install 5G equipment in the UK, but the current equipment must also be removed. However, Huawei has lost many customers for 5G technology, and Huawei’s decline continues.
