L.A. Noire – Review and specs
L.A. Noire is a video game developed by Rockstar Games, in collaboration with the Australian Team Bondi.
L.A. Noire will use a picture of black tint, like images of cop movies in the late 40. Also, developers said they try to recreate a more faithful copy of Los Angeles at the time.
The game introduces us to a world mafia and corruption of post-war, a world where jazz and drugs dominated the lives of those involved in illegal businesses.
Players will assume the role of a detective in LA and will have to solve a series of crimes, with or without connecting them in a personal manner and a very open ended ending.
Game developers use to create MotionScan technology, a system that records facial expressions of actors and transposing them in games or movies. MotionScan technique is very much like the director James Cameron film Avatar.
L.A. Noire, the game from Rockstar Games will be released for PC on November 11, 2011. Retail package will be called L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition and will also allow access code download sites DLC released for PS3 and X360 versions.
The five packages download are: Nicholson Electroplating Arson Case, Reefer Madness Vice Case, The Consul’s Car Traffic Case, The Naked City Vice Case and A Slip of the Tongue Traffic Case.
L.A. Noire was released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in May of 2011, being a third-person open world action-adventure game that takes place in ’40s Los Angeles.
Until now, the two versions for consoles have been shipped in over 4 million copies.
