New details about the LG Optimus Vu 2, competitor’s Galaxy Note 2

LG Optimus Vu 2 is a hybrid smartphone / tablet that has the full functionality of a mobile phone, but accommodated in a housing reminiscent of a tablet rather compact.

Competitor’s Galaxy Note 2 AH-IPS display comes with 5-inch LCD with 4:3 aspect ratio and 1024×768 pixel resolution specific iPad tablet.

Unlike the original Optimus Vu, the new terminal is limited to double the amount of RAM (2GB DDR2 LP) and include a faster dual-core processor with a frequency of 1.5 GHz, while keeping the other specifications almost unchanged.

On housing size and appearance similar to its predecessor, the Optimus Vu 2 includes two capacitive buttons and physical function key Home. 1.3 MP front camera is seconded by a camera with LED flash and autofocus that supports Full HD movie and get pictures at 8 MP resolution provided by a sensor with BSI technology. LG Optimus Vu 2 comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and could be launched at the MWC 2013 event, receiving a price close to the amount of 499 euros required for the current model Optimus Vu.
