Apple no longer owes Ireland 13 billion euros

In 2016, Apple went to court because it did not pay taxes in Ireland. After 4 years of litigation, the American company won and no longer owes a penny.

The European Commission complained at the time, but the General Court ruled that Apple was right and no longer had to pay 13 billion euros to Ireland.

There is also an appeal to the Supreme Court of Justice of the European Union where the fate of Apple will be decided permanently.

Not only Apple has something to gain but also Ireland because local authorities are no longer accused of illegally favoring a company. Most likely Apple will win in the Supreme Court.
