CES 2022 – Acer Aspire National Geographic Edition – limited edition laptop

The Acer Aspire Vero National Geographic Edition is a laptop, but at the same time a manifestation of the company’s commitment to a more sustainable future. Each purchase of this laptop helps support the global nonprofit company National Geographic in the US in its work to protect the world through exploration, research and education.

The laptop is made of recycled materials. 30% of the plastic used for the chassis is PCR, ie recycled after consumption. 30% PCR plastic is also used in screen frames and 50% in keyboards, further reducing your computer footprint.

The bottom cover comes off through 11 standard Phillips head screws, revealing a well-organized set of
internal elements that allow users to easily replace RAM and SSD.

The box itself has a nice design to fit in any room – maybe above a closet or in the corner of a desk – and its inside can be folded to form a triangular laptop stand.

The innovative design of the Acer packaging protects the device without the need for anything other than 85% recycled paper, plus a 100% industrial recycled plastic (PIR) laptop case and an additional 100% PIR plastic foil between laptop screen and keys.

It is based on a configuration with 11th generation Intel Core, Intel Iris Xe graphics, Windows 11, Wi-Fi 6, USB Type C, two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports.
