Redmi K40 Gaming Edition is an affordable gaming phone

Xiaomi’s budget division has received a new member focused on mobile gaming.

Redmi K40 Gaming Edition uses a Dimensity 1400 processor made on a 6nm technology. The basic version comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, and the top version with 12GB RAM and 256GB for storage.

The screen is a 6.67 inch AMOLED with FullHD + resolution, a refresh rate of 120HZ and a touch sampling rate of 480Hz. The screen is HDR10 + certified, 10bit colors and covers the DCI-P3 color spectrum.

The main camera is 64MP, accompanied by an 8MP for ultrawide photos and a 2MP sensor for macro.

The sound is stereo, with two JBL optimized speakers. The battery has a capacity of 5000mAh and fast charging is done with the help of the 67W charger.

Like the price, its design is attractive and has buttons for side gaming sessions.

Prices start at $310 for 6GB RAM / 128GB storage and go up to $420 for 12GB RAM / 256GB storage.
