Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra – comparison between Exynos and Snapdragon platforms
You know that Samsung offers two platforms depending on the market in which the phones are sold, and we in Europe receive the version with Exynos. For years, it has been proven that Snapdragon offers better performance, and users are mainly looking for Snapdragon phones.
Even our colleague Alex noticed this when he tested various Samsung models. Being a fan of the brand and knowing the phones well, Alex immediately realized the differences. Even pictures and battery life are affected and are much better on Snapdragon phones.
For S22 we have the same recipe, and now we have found a comparison between S22 Ultra with Exynos and Snapdragon. Obviously it’s about the Exynos 2200 and Snapdragon 8 Gen1.
In a single core test, the Exynos model scored 1168 points and the Snapdragon version scored 1226 points. And in a multi core test the results are 3462 for Snapdragon and 3508 for Exynos.
We see that the Exynos platform is more efficient in both tests, but in reality we might have surprises. But only when the phones are launched and we will be able to compare them will we see the real results. Maybe Samsung really succeeded with the new Exynos and they finally have a good platform.
