AMD announces the launch of Zen 4 and RDNA 3 through Lisa Su this year

AMD confirmed in the past few days through the core man, Dr. Lisa Su, the launch of the Zen 4 and RDNA 3 architecture this year. The CEO confirmed that the new RDNA 3 video cards and the new Zen 4 architecture will also hit the high end segment.

This is an important year for AMD, and the launches it will have this year will be technologically spectacular. Because as we know from rumors, RDNA 3 video cards (probably called RX 7000) will use new production technologies from TSMC, the so-called N5 and N6, practically a combination of the two. But they will also use the first MCM architecture for the general public, used so far only on CDNA2 MI200 video cards.

As for the processors, they will support DDR5 memory, this being the main novelty. It goes without saying that they will be made in a new manufacturing process and will be faster. I’m curious how big the performance increase is compared to the successful 5000 series models like the Ryzen 5 5600X.
