Samsung is playing with megapixels – follows sensor 600MP

The largest sensor in terms of MP number is now on the Galaxy S20. The 108MP sensor is the largest so far, but tests have shown that the large number of MPs does not mean clearer pictures.

However, Samsung plans to have a 600MP sensor to compete with the human eye.

They are currently working on a 250MP sensor that we will see shortly. Until we see it, we will see the 150MP sensor that is already being worked on and it is possible to see it this year.

Personally, I don’t understand where this madness with megapixels comes from. From my point of view, the size of the sensor is much more important than the huge number of megapixels, useless for normal use.
