Sony is preparing to launch a new Xperia Compact model

Sony will bring back to life the Compact series, the much-loved powerful phones with a compact design. As such small phones no longer exist, the iPhone being the only powerful and compact phone on the market, Sony decides to re-enter the fight.

Still at the rumor level, but quite sure that everything will materialize, the new Compact series will not be as good as in the past. Sony is now working on a Compact phone that will be available next year, but which will be more of a premium mid-range.

We are talking about a configuration with Snapdragon 775, the future 5G platform from Qualcomm and a 5.5 inch screen. We do not know any other information about the new model.

Most likely we will receive dual cameras, a premium construction, generous battery and a quality screen. As an idea, the iPhone 12 Mini has a 5.4 inch screen, and the iPhone 12 has a 6.1 inch screen.
