Google could develop its own processor for Chromebook and Pixel
Google could prepare a surprise for us and present next year its own processor for phones and laptops.
According to a report by Axios, Google is preparing a processor that is already in development under the code name Whitechapel.
It would be an 8-core ARM made by Samsung on 5nm.
It will be designed to run Google machine learning and will have a dedicated part for Google Assistant.
We have no other details, but the Google direction is interesting. I wish them success, it would take little competition.
