Oppo and Vivo are preparing foldable phones for this year
Being part of the same BBK group, Oppo, Vivo is working on new models of folding phones. Even if OnePlus or realme are part of this group, the small brand currently remains in the area of affordable phones, and OnePlus is probably focusing on something else.
Oppo and Vivo are the heavy players in this group who have always come up with the latest news and technologies. According to online information, Oppo will present the first foldable phone in Q2 this year. It will come in two variants, 7 and 8 inches.
Vivo also works on a foldable phone with dimensions between 6.5 inches and 8 inches. Probably some kind of rolling phone, we don’t know for sure yet.
Most likely Oppo and Vivo will test the market with their new foldable phones, and when the technology is mature enough it will be implemented on OnePlus. The most affordable brand in the group will adopt the technologies when they are cheap enough.
