The most annoying bug that Windows 10 still has after the latest major update
Start Menu does not work at all, or crashes as soon as you click on an application. Most Windows 10 users have encountered this problem, some of them pointing to the RESET button believing that the PC is completely locked.
Fortunately, the “nuclear” option is not absolutely necessary, as there are other ways to restore normal operation and possibly avoid this problem in the future.
Although Microsoft has at one time tried to eliminate it altogether, Start Menu has remained the starting point for any Windows user, so any situation where it refuses to work is a source of frustration and even panic among those who, maybe, they had something important to do in front of the PC.
There is almost no connection between the old Start Menu in Windows 7 and the implementation in Windows 10, with Microsoft rewriting and restarting the entire start menu from scratch. Unfortunately, this means that some problems can also slip, software bugs that are fixed later, most of the time.
Check and repair corrupt Windows files
Windows files can sometimes be corrupted as a result of unexpected restart of the PC (using the RESET button), problems with RAM stability or damage to the storage device. This can cause a lot of problems with your PC’s operation, including blocking the Start Menu.
