Samsung could use OLED screens from the BOE
We know very well that Samsung is the largest manufacturer of OLED screens for smartphones in the world. Attention, only smartphones because they do not produce for TVs. However, they could use Chinese screens from the BOE.
How is it possible that Samsung does not use its own screens for their phones? It is very likely that the BOE will offer OLED screens at a better price than Samsung can produce, but it is equally possible that the BOE screens will be better.
Apple has given up its contract with Samsung for OLED displays and has chosen BOE as the main supplier for the future iPhone 12 models. This should make us think seriously.
However, Samsung will not choose BOE as the main manufacturer of OLED screens. It is hard to believe such a thing, but the BOE could come to their aid when the demand is too high. A 6.67-inch flexible OLED screen appears on the shopping list, but we don’t know for which Samsung phone model.

A more plausible theory is that Samsung could use the OLED screens from BOE on the Galaxy A series, and the Galaxy S and Note series to adopt the screens made by themselves.
If we look over the attached chart we see how Samsung’s market share is declining and BOE is on the rise.
It’s just a chart that shows us an estimate for this year. Also, LG does not seem to be doing too badly and there is an increase in Q4 2020.
By the way, did you know about the existence of the other producers? I mean China Star, Tianma, Visionox?
